2025 Section 179 Limits & Chevrolet Benefits
Section 179 is intended to help small- and medium-sized businesses save when they need to invest in work trucks, delivery vans and other eligible vehicles for their business. Peruse our selection of new Chevy Silverado HD models that are ideal for the jobsite or peruse Chevy commercial vans for sale on our lot.
When qualifying businesses leverage this tax incentive, they can deduct up to the full purchase price of eligible vehicles during the year they're placed into service. This means that businesses don't need to spread the depreciation out over time.1
The 2025 Section 279 spending limits are:
Deduction Limit: $2,500,000 (applies to new and used equipment)1
Spending Cap: $4,000,000 (deduction reduces dollar-for-dollar after this threshold) 1
Bonus Depreciation: 100% (available after spending cap is reached) 1
